‘Gotham’ season 3 video: Gordon’s new life

While Jim Gordon will be continuing to do what he does best on “Gotham” season 3, that will not involve something that was a central part of his identity in the past: A badge.

For the latest bit of evidence of that very thing, you don’t have to look any further than the latest video below via Fox. In this preview, you can see a little bit of what Ben McKenzie’s character is up to, and how being a part of the Gotham City Police Department is not high on the priority list. He is still acting with noble purposes, given that the preview does feature him trying to round up and stop some of the escapees from Indian Hill, but he is setting his own schedule and, in turn, making his own rules.

The question that you should be asking yourself after watching something like this is precisely how long it can last, given that you have to know that with this being a Batman prequel series, eventually he is going to have to rejoin the GCPD in order for everything to make a little bit more sense. Our question, at least for the time being, is precisely how and when such a move could happen that would convince Jim in turn to want to go back to working with some of the people who previously made life a little difficult for him from time to time.

The new season is going to premiere on Fox later this month; hopefully, we’re going to have some further exciting coverage to share as we start to near that point!
