‘Halt and Catch Fire’ season 3, episode 4 video: What troubles lie ahead for Donna, Cameron?

So far on “Halt and Catch Fire” season 3, we have certainly bore witness to some of the further growing pains that have befallen Mutiny as a company. They’ve tried to do just about everything that they could in order to expand in California, and that has included merging with another company, one with a skeleton crew in many ways but technology that would have made them a competitor.

However, there are some problems that come with such a merger: Trying to deal with the people involved! This is what the preview is really all about. In this clip, you can see Donna and Cameron doing their part in order to house-hunt a little bit for Cameron (she’s been staying with Donna and Gordon so far this season), and in the process of all of this, she is pressed further as to why she is being so hard on her prospective new homes. As it turns out, it is tied to some of the frustrations that she is feeling at work having to deal with some of these new people.

This is where Donna comes into play once more as a key adviser. She tries to do everything that she can to make it clear to Cameron that they can’t just abandon these guys since they’re on board the company now. They have to find a way to make things work, and that could include for the time being all of them getting to know each other better. Donna has scheduled a dinner; given Cameron’s present attitude, do you really think that’s going to go well?
