‘Aquarius’ season 2 finale spoilers: First look at final episodes
We wish we could say that the end of “Aquarius” season 2 — and likely the end of the entire series — was getting a hero’s treatment. Unfortunately, NBC is giving it a little bit more of a silent one. The final installments continue to be burned off on Saturdays, and next week, the last two are going to be coming on the air one right after the other.
For those of you who are still watching and enjoying the series, we thought we’d at least give you a quick preview of what to expect over the course of these installments. The details below come courtesy of official network releases.
2×12, “Mother Nature’s Son” – “Hodiak (David Duchovny) decides to take matters into his own hands and shows up on the doorstep of the mysterious serial killer who has been sending him obscene pictures. Meanwhile, Manson sends Bobby (Mark L. Young, “The Comeback”), Mary (Abby Miller, “Justified”) and Sadie (Ambyr Childers) to go to extreme measures to get money from Gary Hinman (Jefferson White, “How to Get Away With Murder”).”
2×13, “I Will” – “A newly “retired” Hodiak (David Duchovny) tracks down the serial killer who has been tormenting him for months, without the protection and authority of his police position. Manson (Gethin Anthony) sends Tex (Cameron Deane Stewart), Sadie (Ambyr Childers), Emma (Emma Dumont) and Patty (Madisen Beaty) to 10050 Cielo Drive, where they are swept up in one of the most infamous crimes in the country’s history.”
While it certainly would be nice to see more of the series, at the same time we’re not getting much of an indication that is happening. As a matter of fact, NBC sounded far from bullish on the series’ future recently at TCA. Our advice is to enjoy the installments tonight and the final two next week, since that may be all you have.
