‘The Last Ship’ season 3, episode 12 preview: Chandler heads home for answers

The third season of “The Last Ship” has certainly provided a lot of twists and turns over the course of the year, and we also have seen a general theme of strangers in a strange land. Chandler has been trying to resolve matters overseas, but in between Peng’s betrayal and having to go against his turned-around country, things have not gone well for him.

Ultimately on next week’s new episode entitled “Resistance,” you are going to finally see the clash that you’ve been waiting for ever since Michener’s death. Eric Dane’s character will have a prime opportunity to alter the course of history once more, and he will do it in the United States. The synopsis below confirms that, even if it hardly does all that great of a job telling us anything else in terms of what is coming up:

“Chandler returns to America to get to the bottom of what’s really been happening all along.”

Hopefully, there’ll be a promo later tonight with a little more insight; one way or another, the biggest thing that we can expect to see here is something that carries over almost directly to the finale, which should be the craziest yet. It’ll set up the fourth season of the show, while hopefully offering up at least some sort of closure for everything that has happened to date. Update: You can now check out the promo below!
