There is a new episode of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” airing on Bravo tomorrow night, but is the pattern of new episodes airing on Sunday nights going to continue moving into next week? For the time being, it doesn’t look as though that is the case.
According to the listings over on TV Guide, you’re not going to be seeing a new episode of the series on the network next Sunday; instead, a “social edition” is currently scheduled with a sprinkling of new content here and there.
When you think about the potential reasoning for this move, it does make a certain degree of sense. After all, just remember for a moment that next weekend is Labor Day Weekend, and there are at least a small percentage of Americans who may have some other plans on the day. After all, this is the last chance for many people, especially in colder climates, to get outside and have some fun in the sun. Delaying the next new episode may be the right course of action.
Meanwhile, it’s not like you’re getting one fewer episode of the show overall, given that the rest of the season will be pushed back and you’ll still get to see all of it. This move helps to ensure that Bravo gets the biggest ratings possible, and this has already been a fairly high-profile season given everything that Teresa Giudice has gone through in particular over the past year.
