‘America’s Got Talent’ semifinals: Lori Mae Hernandez, Grace VanderWaal performing Tuesday
Tuesday night marks the first semifinal show for this season of “America’s Got Talent,” and while we cannot reveal to you the full lineup for the show just yet, we are rather grateful to start to piece together who the participants will be!
First and foremost, Grace VanderWaal is clearly not having a lot of time to prepare for her next performance! In a post on Twitter, fellow act Lori Mae Hernandez made it rather clear that both she and Grace will be appearing on Tuesday’s edition of the show.
In the case of Grace, the good news is that she more than likely has another song that she can pull from her arsenal for the semifinal show. Our suggestion would be to do that, and then go back to her audition song for the grand finale. We’re usually against reprisals, but it’s a little different when it’s your own song and you want people to remember it.
Meanwhile, for Lori she’s had a little bit more time to prepare for this given that her last performance came before the Olympics, and given how much of her comedy is political, we think that this current election is certainly giving her a lot to work with here. Both likely have a chance to move on to the finals, but much of depends on everything from placement to performance quality.
If we do get the full lineup for Tuesday’s show in time, rest assured we’ll be bringing back the contestant rankings once more!

I’d love to hear her do “Gossip Girl” in the finals. Keep showing the fans that she has different material, it’s a catchy tune, and absolutely anyone who hears it would be able to relate to that person in their life they thought was a friend, but then started talking about them behind their back.
