‘The X Factor’ UK and the latest rumors; plus, a new behind-the-scenes video

It’s another day when it comes to “The X Factor” UK, and you know what that means ultimately: Further opportunities for everyone to make mountains out of molehills.

One of the latest rumors today is especially silly, mostly because it revolves around the notion that Simon Cowell and Nicole Scherzinger are in the midst of some sort of problem, or that there is dysfunction within the series, because neither one of them was at the launch event for it earlier this week.

News flash: There are some obvious reasons for that. For Sharon, she’s got “The Talk” plus other work commitments. Meanwhile, Cowell still has “America’s Got Talent” for a couple of weeks, which he continues to totally crush as a judge. This season has shown itself to be surprising good over there, and while we love Simon on the UK show, there’s no need to fly back and forth when it would be almost logistically impossible.

Ultimately, what we’re saying is rather simple: Don’t put too much stock in what is being preached here.
