‘Rizzoli & Isles’ season 7, episode 12 preview: The last before series finale
We are definitely now at the point on this “Rizzoli & Isles” season that we have to start preparing for the end of the road. After all, there are only two episodes left, and this is a time when you start to inevitably become a little bit more nostalgic for days gone by, hoping that you could somehow hop in a time machine back when there were many more stories to tell.
Nonetheless, we do have to look forward to next week’s new episode entitled “Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow”; that title alone may get you a little bit choked up.
So what’s going to happen? On the case side of things, you’re going to see Jane and Maura do what they can to solve two different murders that have a connection to Korsak in one way or another. The nature of said connection may qualify under “to be determined.” What is interesting here is that one of these murders is going to be in the past, while the other is much more involved with matters in the present.
As for what else is going to happen, we will see many of the characters start to look forward to that next chapter. For Jane, it’s possible that there could be some romance in her future courtesy of what TNT calls a “surprise visit.” Meanwhile, Maura will receive some feedback on her novel, but it may not be precisely what she wants to hear.
Rest assured that we’ll have more on this episode the rest of the week, but for now, our advice to you is to simply have tissues at the ready the remainder of the summer.
