‘Rizzoli & Isles’ season 7, episode 11 preview: Is a new serial killer on the loose?
There may only be a few episodes left in the run of “Rizzoli & Isles” on TNT, but this is a show that is clearly deciding that they want to go big — and frighting — on their way to the finish line.
The promo below is for “Stiffed,” Monday night’s new episode that features a rather insane premise: The bodies of many murder victims are found in graves / caskets belonging to other people. All signs point to there being a serial killer on the loose, one with a particularly strange M.O. that could challenge the team in some ways that they have not been over the past several weeks, at the very least. Anytime you’ve got a serial killer like this one the loose, you’re always racing against the clock. They know that their time may be running out, and they then use that as a chance to start to ramp things up in a most terrible way.
Elsewhere in this episode, be prepared for Tommy Rizzoli to surface with some plans that could starting many a character. The same does go for Jane, who is going to be figuring out more of her future and telling some of her friends about the latest development in her life. This is a show that does realize that the end is near, and they don’t want to commit a travesty known as trying to unload every revelation and resolution in just one episode. They want to scale things out over time, and give everyone a proper opportunity to say goodbye to some of these characters.
Tomorrow, we’ll have a better assessment as to how the story is unfolding courtesy of a new review. Stay tuned…
