‘Mistresses’ season 4, episode 10 preview: A deceptive Joss – Karen sneak peek

Even though we know that Joss and Karen are rather close friends on “Mistresses,” there could be some major turbulence coming up courtesy of the sneak peek below. After all, what we’re seeing here is prime evidence that Joss is going to be doing everything that she can in order to get some anti-anxiety medication, even if it means going behind Karen’s back in order to do so.

In the sneak peek, you can see Joss, after first getting turned about by Karen when it comes to writing her a prescription, tearing a sheet away for potential later use. From there, she proceeds to have a lengthier conversation with her about her new relationship.

What is this a sign of? More than anything else, that a serious downward spiral could be coming for Joss given that she’s now at the point where she is willing to trick some of her friends in order to get what she wants from them. This was clearly a deliberate move, and while we do think she cares about Karen’s dating life, at the same time she is prioritize her own need to be medicated over it.

If things are bad for her now, it could get worse over time as some events start to unfold over the next couple of episodes that take away the sense of healing that she’s found in the wake of the attack at the end of this past season. We’ll have further news as we hear more, so stay tuned!
