‘Dancing with the Stars 23’ (of course) wants Simone Biles, Bill Clinton

Stop us if you’re surprised (in other words, don’t stop us at all): The producers for “Dancing with the Stars” want to get Simone Biles on the show for the fall.

Sources tell Us Weekly that at the top of their season 23 wish list include the Olympic gold-medal gymnast to go along with former President Bill Clinton, and we gotta say that both feel at present like long-shots. For one, there’s about a 0.00001% chance Clinton ever does the show; he has so many other responsibilities right now. We should make it clear that we don’t think it makes for a political conflict of interest, given that he himself is not running for office and we’ve seen politically-minded contestants before such as Tom DeLay. He just will be busy helping campaign for his wife Hillary.

In going back to Biles, we do think that the odds are there for the gymnast to appear eventually; the challenge for her is making it work schedule-wise given that there is a tour that follows the competition at the Olympics that takes members of the Final Five across the country. A better get may be her for the spring season. For example, Aly Raisman competed on the show in the spring of 2013, several months removed from her time with the Fierce Five. No doubt, producers would still want Biles then just as much as they want her now.

The good news is that she is at least interested, as she previously told the aforementioned site the following on the subject:

“I think Dancing With the Stars would be so cool! I can’t dance, but that’s what it’s for. I don’t know — we’ll be so busy, we have tour, and if that happens, and I can do it, that would be amazing.”

One person who certainly could use the show for a bit of image-repair right now is swimmer Ryan Lochte, given the controversy surrounding his recent actions in Rio. Then again, maybe producers don’t even want him at this point.
