‘Mistresses’ season 4 spoilers: Distress, heartbreak, and more ahead

It should not come as much of a surprise that the further we travel into “Mistresses” season 4, the more complicated many stories are going to become. Some characters will find some success, some will be heartbroken, and others will likely experience a combination of several different things. This is, after all, the sort of world that this show often lives in. There’s always going to be some sort of flux.

So on the upcoming August 22 episode entitled “Confrontations” (which really may be the perfect title for an episode of this show) the biggest thing you can expect to see is Joss deal with the death of one of her friends from impact class, which could be hard for her given that this is a place that she has used to help escape so much of her recent trauma. Meanwhile, April and Marc’s recent relationship issues could spiral, leading to both of them making some shocking decisions that not everyone is going to like.

Meanwhile, Karen is going to find herself in a new relationship with someone, only to find out that someone else is attempting a little bit of sabotage on it. (Can you really be that shocked by this? Karen’s romantic life has been a roller-coaster perhaps even more so than any other character so far this season.)

Finally, be prepared for Harry to face some further anxiety thanks to Jonathan’s recent behavior. These stories should help to set up an exciting end to this season, which in turn may or may not be the last for the show on AMC.
