‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 8 spoilers: First details on premiere!
The seventh season of “NCIS: Los Angeles” was very emotional for Sam character, as he was forced to confront a dangerous situation that left his son in jeopardy. Will this change things for him moving forward in his job? We suspect it will have lasting effects on him now that things have hit so close to home.
How do you top a story like that in terms of the season 8 premiere? We don’t think they will hit us again on such a deep an emotional level, but instead they may be leading us on a different route. Therefore, the upcoming first episode of the season (airing on Sunday, October 2) is going to take much more of a political route, focusing more on an investigation that could lead to a mole being exposed.
The Under Secret of the Navy will come in following the identification of a potential traitor in the midst. If that was not challenging enough, the team will then be forced to take on a High Value Target case that puts a Syrian terrorist front and center. They will have the challenge of having to be at their best while being watched every step of the way.
Can you make the argument of “oh, you should be fine if you are innocent?” to discuss some potential anxiety among the characters? Sure, but at the same exact time you have to remember here that we’re discussing people who get the job done, but don’t always follow every single rule to make it happen. If their typical M.O. is disrupted in any way, you do have to prepare for even the smallest amount of chaos this could cause.
