‘Legends of Tomorrow’ season 2 spoilers: ‘Power Rangers’ actress set for Stargirl

LegendsThe latest member of the Justice Society of America has officially been courted for the second season of “Legends of Tomorrow.”

Sources confirm that Sarah Grey, who is set to appear in the upcoming “Power Rangers” feature film, is going to appear on the CW series as the aforementioned Stargirl, a woman who harnesses the power of Starman’s cosmic staff and wears the Cosmic Converter Belt. It’s a slightly-cheesy conceit, but we’re feeling almost as though the JSA are going to harken back to a different era of superheroes. After all, we’re getting an ancestor to the “Arrow” – Megalyn EK Vixen on the series as played by Maisie Richardson-Sellers. This would be a time in which there was less cynicism, and heroes could wear the bold colors and have hope without all of the brooding.

For the most part, the specific role of the JSA in the series remains unclear beyond that Commander Steel (read more here) and Hourman (“Suits” star Patrick J. Adams) are going to be involved in some way. The same goes for the Legion of Doom, the season big bads who consist of Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough), the Reverse-Flash (Matt Letscher), Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman), and Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller).

New episodes of the series will start airing this fall; hopefully with all of these team-ups, the show is going to be spilling some adequate knowledge in the near future regarding how all of this is going to work. This is a lot of people to make time for onscreen!
