‘Outcast’ episode 9 video: Reverend Anderson looks for answers

We are starting to near the end of this current run of “Outcast” episodes, and at present it does certainly feel as though nothing is going to calm down within this West Virginia world. When it comes to Kyle, he is going to do what he can to find Allison, who previously left over the pain and guilt of the past coupled with her fears about whether or not she is fully whole. He’s going to wrestle with his own emotions, and also in the process check up on Megan. The Cinemax synopsis for this episode hints that she is “rocked by surprising news,” whatever that may be.

As for the sneak peek below from Friday’s upcoming episode, you are going to see the latest act for Reverend Anderson following being ostracized by much of the town. In the wake of everything with Sidney, he does not have the same adoration or belief that he once does. He’s looking for anyone who can help him, and this is where Florence comes into play.

While she at first claims that she cannot be caught seen speaking with him, eventually the Reverend does appeal to her good nature by reminder her of all of the work that they’ve done. Maybe this makes Florence naive, but she’s also a naturally-good person trying to do what she thinks is best in the moment.

Anderson wants Florence to figure out what the Deacons are saying about him; as for whether or not she does, that’s something we will hopefully figure out when this episode actually airs.
