‘Rizzoli & Isles’ season 7, episode 10 preview: When will Angie Harmon, Sasha Alexander return?
We should go ahead and begin this particular “Rizzoli & Isles” article with the bad news: There is no new episode airing next week. Also, even worse news: There are only four more episodes for the entire series. We are now in the stage of the series where difficult decisions have to be made, and the legacy of the overall series is formed. That is a deep and super-ambitious thing for any show, but with the characters and the backstory that this particular one has, we are fairly confident that they are going to be able to pull it off.
Following the aforementioned hiatus (which is thankfully short), the series will return on Monday, August 15 with an installment entitled “For Richer or Poorer,” which is going to involve Jane and Maura getting stuck into a complicated Ponzi scheme. Sound complicated? Well, wait until you hear that the major suspect in the case of the week (the death of a forensic accountant in a park, which somehow leads our leads to said Ponzi scheme) turns out to be someone from Maura’s past.
If you missed the news over the weekend, this is going to be the directorial debut of Sasha Alexander, so we imagine there will be many cool things attempted in here so that we can fully utilize that muscle. In particular, it looks as though she could lead Angie Harmon through a very important scene as Jane makes a huge decision about her career over the course of the hour.
