‘Girl Meets World’ season 3 finale spoilers: See the epic ‘Boy Meets World’ reunion

While there is a new episode of “Girl Meets World” airing on the Disney Channel tonight, for the sake of this article we’re actually taking a look a little bit further into the future. Specifically, we’re talking here about the upcoming finale that is going to be coming your way at some point down the road. (Let’s be real — it’s way too far into the future to have a precise premiere date for that.)

The photo above is one of your first looks at that episode, which is an epic reunion of many former “Boy Meets World” actors including William Daniels, Rider Strong, Will Friedle, Anthony Tyler Quinn, Lee Norris, Danny McNulty, William Russ, Betsy Randle, and Lily Nicksay and Linday Ridgeway, who both played Morgan Matthews over the course of the series’ run. It’s as epic of a reunion as you are going to find, and it makes us super-excited to see what the writers have planned here.

Does it also have us nervous that a series finale is on the horizon? Absolutely, but that is just the sort of thing that you have to be prepared for in this TV landscape. While we still would argue that “Girl Meets World” is certainly successful enough to merit another run on the Disney Channel or elsewhere, we’re not an executive. We just think that there is so much more of the Riley Matthews story left to tell, and we really don’t want to wait another couple of decades to get a new show that will feature a grown-up Riley with her own child facing some of the same problems.
