The second “Celebrity Big Brother” season of the year is getting set to launch on Channel 5, and if the latest casting rumors are true, there could be several people this season who viewers in North America are at least moderately familiar with.
Per The Sun, one name (for better or worse) is Frankie Grande. The “social media mogul” from “Big Brother 16” in America (otherwise known as Ariana Grande’s older brother) certainly has a following, but at the same time he was far more polarizing on his first go-around with the franchise than people realize. We will say that he was actually a much better player in the first few weeks, prior to starting to get too many hands in too many cookie jars, and also before revealing who he truly was. At that point, the whole star power associated with him became more or less insufferable.
Another memorable name is former Danity Kane member / reality TV staple Aubrey O’Day, who has done “Famously Single,” “The Celebrity Apprentice,” and countless other shows. She tends to bring a lot of drama, so there is a clear reason why the show would want her.
As for some other notable celebrities, you’ve got Beth Chapman of “Dog the Bounty Hunter” fame, Renee Graziano of “Mob Wives,” and then also some known British names like Grant Bovey, Katie Waissel of “The X Factor,” and Sam Fox. The rest of the cast really isn’t that interesting to us, mostly because it is the same sort of names time and time again without a whole lot of variance.
Ultimately, we’ll see what happens when the new season launches, but be sure to share your thoughts on this cast below! Also, head over to this link to secure some other TV news on all we cover, sent right over to you you via our official CarterMatt Newsletter. (Photo: Channel 5.)
