‘Mistresses’ season 4 spoilers: A surprising return from the past…

Within the world of “Mistresses,” nothing ever tends to stay stable for long. Also, nobody is necessarily gone forever from the world. (Unless, apparently, you’re Savi — just a joke! Don’t come chasing us down with pitchforks.)

The show is off the air until August 2, but when it returns, we are going to receive two episodes in less than a week’s time! Following this installment (which is airing on a rare night in Tuesday), the show will be moving back to Monday nights for “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” an installment that may mean some rather significant things some several different characters.

Let’s start here for April, since over the course of this episode (per the official synopsis) her mother Marjorie is going to arrive! What’s the problem? Well, it’s as simple as that she may not be a fan of Marc, and due to some health issues she may be staying with them for some time.

Meanwhile, Karen’s got a new nanny in Lydia — and the dynamic with her is going to be rather different than the one that she had with Robert. She will do her best to try to forge a friendship here, or at least as much of one as you can have given the circumstances.

Finally, the latest update for Joss and Harry is as follows: Harry is still coping with fame, and Joss is going to be in for quite a shock when she realizes that Kate may have a romantic interest in her ex Scott — which means that Justin Hartley is returning to the show. Rejoice!
