‘Bones’ season 12 spoilers: Death awaits at least two characters

Earlier this weekend, the cast of “Bones” descended on San Diego Comic-Con one final time to talk the show, and it does appear that there are going to be some fun moments that happen on the twelfth and final season … but also some rather-sad ones to go along with it.

Specifically, it was mentioned during the panel that two characters are going to die over the course of the final season of the show, with one of the most significant things to know being that these are not characters who are currently regulars on the show. Obviously, that does not inspire a lot of confidence for Zack Addy, who we just learned is returning. It was confirmed at the panel that he will be around for multiple episodes of the final season, but his ultimate fate and allegiance is not entirely clear.

As for a few other details here and there on what to expect from the fun side of things, be prepared for at least one wedding in the final episodes — and it’s Cam and Arastoo! Also, there will be another case that throws Booth and Brennan undercover, and there may be some more hope for Hodgins and Angela despite everything that the two of them have collectively gone through over time (and it is quite a bit).

Now, we just have to wait, and it’s a rather long one, with that. The final season is not going to premiere on Fox until at some point in the new year.
