‘Conan’ brings out Stephen Amell, Grant Gustin, Melissa Benoist for superhero discussion

While you are not going to get the spotlight on “Arrow,” “The Flash,” and “Supergirl” at San Diego Comic-Con until tonight, you don’t have to wait that long to see a few highlights from what was a pretty hilarious appearance from the show’s three stars (in Stephen Amell, Grant Gustin, and Melissa Benoist) on “Conan” last night. Conan O’Brien is down in the city alongside all of the actors, and the videos below make some of the true trials and tribulations for CW superhero actors clear!

First and foremost, apparently wearing a superhero costume is not everything that it is cracked up to be. As Amell explains, one of the difficult parts of it is dealing with some of the sweat in the summer, and then the freezing cold temperatures in the winter.

From here, we also learn that another requirement is having to properly deliver the best “smolder” look, which the three do to the best of their ability. Grant loses his the fastest and cracks up, while Benoist goes for a different take on it. Of course, this could not be complete without Conan’s sidekick Andy Richter presenting a take of his own.

Overall, consider this video a fun little precursor to everything else that is coming up over the course of the day. Here’s to hoping that we get some really entertaining stuff from everyone at the shows’ respective panels! We know that there are some pretty darn big surprises that are expecting to come out, and that’s worth watching out for.
