‘Fear the Walking Dead’ season 2: Robert Kirkman teases further danger

Any show within the universe of “The Walking Dead” is going to feel a certain degree of danger, and with that in mind, it does not feel altogether strange to expect plenty of chaos on the remainder of the second season of “Fear the Walking Dead.” It’s especially true when you think for a moment about everything that has happened so far. We’ve seen deadly fires, hordes of walkers, and also questionably characters at sea. Everyone is trying to find their way in this world, and it is proving to not be an easy task.

In teasing more of what is going to happen when the series picks up on AMC next month, executive producer Robert Kirkman had a very simple tease via Entertainment Weekly while at San Diego Comic-Con:

“What’s exciting about where we’re getting now is that we’re finally getting to the point where the apocalypse is bearing down on these people and it’s really turning into this pressure cooker situation that’s really causing a rapid evolution that will get us to a point where this is a much more savage, much more Walking Dead-esque situation moving forward.”

Obviously, there are reasons to fear for several characters right now who are still adjusting to this world. There are some questions when it comes to Chris’ mental state, Nick is completely on his own, and while Madison seems to have quickly transitioned into a capable survivor in this world, we’re not sure there are enough other people on her level to come to her aid if things go south.
