With San Diego Comic-Con rapidly approaching, it is looking more and more like there is a reason to be excited. After all, there are going to be panels aplenty, as well as opportunities at the same exact time for us to see some new scoop on many of your favorite shows.
Is there a show better suited for the convention than any that is a part of the DC Universe? We have a hard time thinking so, which is why we’re glad at this point that The CW is fully embracing what is basically their identity at this point. The new poster above is further evidence of that since you have “Arrow,” “Supergirl,” “The Flash,” and “Legends of Tomorrow” all onscreen together.
Now what you have to wonder moving into the new year is whether or not these four shows can all coexist; if they do, you have to wonder at the same time if there is a way that we can see down the road another edition to the roster. Could there be another pilot ordered, or the return of something like “Constantine” to the air? We’re not ruling it out, given that we’d love to see it and we think that there is still hope that something could generate ratings on Fridays. After all, “Smallville” did okay there at the end of its run, and “Supernatural” at least survived for the short period of time it was there.
For now, just go ahead and enjoy the promo art. After all, we’ll have SO much more of big news from the convention over the course of the coming days!
