We are starting to approach the end of “Devious Maids” season 4, and with that of course in mind, we imagine that things are going to escalate all across the board. Specifically we mean that in terms of discovering who is responsible for Peri’s murder, which is one of the show’s longtime arcs that we imagine will be resolved before we get around to the end of the season.
The title for the next new episode is “I Saw the Shine,” and you can see via the TV Guide synopsis below some further news when it comes to what to expect:
“Carmen’s caught in the middle of the Powell household; Genevieve meddles with Marisol’s love life; and Rosie comes closer to discovering Peri’s murderer after Shannon makes a confession. Meanwhile, Zoila and Kyle receive unpleasant surprises.”
Basically, there will be a mixture of fun and super-dramatic moments in here, but we have a hard time in the end imagining that there will be much in the way of resolution in here. After all, why would there be when you consider that there are still some episodes to go this season? The show is not going to want to resolve anything too early, mostly out of fear of not having anything to talk about near the end … though we’re sure that there are going to be a couple of reveals in the last two episodes that set the stage for a potential season 5. (Note: It has not been renewed just yet, but we’ll see what happens!)
