‘Power’ season 3 premiere reaction: Omari Hardwick, cast discuss twists, developments (video)

The third season of “Power” premiered on Starz Sunday night with some stellar performances, and also some big developments. Ghost learned the truth about Lobos still being alive, and decided to bring back the aforementioned nickname once more in a chat with Tommy. Meanwhile, Angela is putting her trust in Jamie to the test, Tommy is embracing more of a role as a boss, and the specter of Kanan, still living, hangs over everyone.

Omari Hardwick makes it clear where Jamie’s head is at, and Naturi Naughton makes it clear that this time around, Tasha is going to be much more of a “badass” than we’ve seen her recently.

You also hear in this sneak peek from Lela Loren (Angela), executive producer Courtney A. Kemp, and many others. It’s a very nice way to put a bow, at least for now, on the events of the premiere. Now, we’ve got many episodes still to go and stories to tell. For us, the biggest reveal we’re waiting for is for the truth about Kanan to be uncovered by everyone, and what exactly this means given that it yet another person with an agenda that could be dangerous. For us, it’s tremendous. For the characters? Not so much.
