‘Devious Maids’ season 4, episode 7 video: Weddings, abs, and drama

Monday night’s “Devious Maids” is really right around the corner, and it does appear that there is going to be some drama around every turn. Also, could there be some … happiness? It’s probably not something that some of these characters are used to at this point given that they’ve been through hell and back, but Carmen certainly seems happy in the promo below! You mostly have to wonder how long it can last. (It may not be long, since it looks like Evelyn’s going to find a way to get in her head during this same episode.)

What may make you rather happy is seeing the continuation of the Jesse storyline, and to go along with that, a wedding dress will be making an appearance! Now, given that this is “Devious Maids,” there is also some dark stuff taking place over the course of the hour, as well. The synopsis below, if you have not seen it just yet, gives you a few more details on that subject:

“Rosie uncovers one of Peri’s secrets; Evelyn tricks Carmen; Marisol struggles with Peter’s absence; Genevieve schemes to get Zoila’s attention; Carmen finds herself in a new relationship.”

Let’s just hope that this story proves to be every bit as entertaining as it looks to be on paper, especially when it comes to the random Evelyn highlights. In between her financial situation and some of her character relationships, this may be the best season that she has had on the show to date.
