‘Gotham’ season 3 Comic-Con poster all about Court of Owls
You can say what you will from time to time about “Gotham” and the episodes it airs (we personally thought season 2 was fantastic), but we’re going to go ahead and add this about their promo department: They are consistently amazing time and time again. This show has always killed it with the promotional material, and moving into season 3, there are signs that this tradition will continue.
The poster below is one of the first things that Fox has released for the upcoming batch of episodes, and it features the signature mask of the Court of Owls, the uber-mysterious organization in Gotham City who may be running things behind the scenes. They were among the few who could even order around Hugo Strange, and in the wake of so many mutated men and women wandering around the city, we imagine they could have a reaction to this.
In terms of specific characters, however, the series is keeping things relatively under wraps for now. We know Jada Pinkett Smith is going to return as Fish Mooney, and some other notable adversaries of Jim Gordon and the GCPD will likely join her. That’s all exciting, but it doesn’t answer the mystery of the Court of Owls. Our theory, at least for now, is that this is going to be a reveal that the show spends their time on before resolving.
This poster is meant to highlight the upcoming panel for the show next weekend at San Diego Comic-Con, which fittingly also happens to be the next time you’re going to have some information about the show.
