‘Power’ season 3 spoilers: One epic tease of chaos ahead

The third season of “Power” will be coming your way to Starz this weekend, and you better be prepared for the world to expand more than ever before — while getting chaotic in the process. There are already threats of death out there, we’ve seen casualties before, and we almost had a big one at the end of season 2 courtesy of Kanan. What this show has done over time is put itself in a position where it can claim “anything can happen” and genuinely mean it.

To go along that further, just take a look at the excellent tease that executive producer Courtney Kemp handed down to TVLine:

“There is a lot of death this season … There is a lot of romance, a lot of sex this season. There are a lot of conversations about the meaning of love.” She laughs. “I am always trying to get some cool philosophical stuff in there while blowing s–t up.”

Specifically, Kemp told the site that there are several big deaths coming up over the course of consecutive episodes, and there are many targets out there on the field. Lobos is someone susceptible to an attack if the tables turn the right way, Greg could be in danger just because of what he knows, and of course anyone close to ghost is in danger. This is what happens, after all, when you are a guy who so many people want to see either behind bars or underground.

Can Ghost stay away from the violence or gravitate towards it? We’ll be learning that come Sunday night.
