CarterMatt turns 5, and we’re celebrating with a giveaway!
Happy five years, everyone! It’s incredible to think how far we have come since we first started CarterMatt back in July 2011 and we couldn’t be happier. We’ve seen wonderful shows come and go, had a chance to report on thousands of unique stories, and have seen the site grow significantly over time.
In looking back over these past five years, there is one emotion we feel more so than any other: Gratitude. Without you reading, commenting, and sharing our work, CarterMatt would cease to exist. You’ve helped us grow into the TV news authority we are today, and shared so much enthusiasm about all of the shows we cover. As a result of that, we wanted to have a way to say “thank you” to you our readers for making all of this possible.
This is what our CarterMatt “Five for Five” contest is all about! In honor of the 5 year anniversary of the site we are sending out five $20 Starbucks gift cards, a perfect thing if you want to grab a coffee (one of our personal favorites) while reading some news on the site. If you want to enter, it’s simple: Just tell us what your favorite show is!
How do you do that? One way is Twitter! Tweet to either @MattCarterMedia or @DangerGirl101 (the official handles of co-founders Matt and Jessa Carter) with your favorite show and the hashtag #CarterMatt. Or, you can visit our Facebook page and tell us your favorite show there using #CarterMatt. You can also enter in the comments section of this article using the same method (telling us your favorite show), or by writing to [email protected] with “CarterMatt Five for Five” as the subject and your favorite show listed within.
We will contact the five winners on Friday, July 15th (this is the end date for the contest) through the method in which they entered.
Official contest rules
1. One entry per person. Multiple entries will render you unable to win the prize.
2. Participation is limited to United States residents only. Apologies to international readers!
3. The winners will be notified using the same way in which they entered the sweepstakes. (For example, if you enter on Facebook, we will use Facebook to notify you.)
4. The winners must be willing to provide their mailing address within 72 hours of the contest’s completion. Otherwise, another winner will be chosen in their place. We will not use this address for any other purpose than the mailing of the prize.
5. Please allow up to a few weeks for prize delivery. We can guarantee that the prize will be shipped, but cannot guarantee its arrival.
