The new season of “The X Factor” has yet to even air on ITV, but it does already seem as though we know what some of the pairings are going to be with the judges. Granted, these are not confirmed, so take these with a grain of salt.
Per the Express, Sharon Osbourne is going to be back in familiar territory this year with the Overs. This is who she mentored the last time she was on the show, and she rode that to a victory for Sam Bailey. Meanwhile, Louis Walsh is going to be working with the Groups yet again, which is something that he has done a good half of the time he is on the show. He does like the challenge, but Louis rarely ever wins the show. Good luck to these groups…
Meanwhile, for the first time ever on the British version of the show, Simon Cowell has the Girls. The last two seasons he had the Overs, and he really seemed unhappy about it the second time. We’re a little more confident he’s smiling this time around since this category is almost always strong. Finally, Nicole Scherzinger has the Boys, which is what she had back when James Arthur won the show, and when the world was also introduced to “Xtra Factor” host Rylan Clark for the first time.
This new season will premiere later this summer. At the moment in production, we are starting to prepare for the Six-Chair Challenge.
