‘Mistresses’ season 4, episode 6 video: Kate receives some advice

The fourth season of “Mistresses” airing once more on Monday night, and you better brace yourselves for some more relationship drama.

This is especially true for Kate, a character still trying to find herself. We imagine that everything from being in a new place to seeing her brother plan a wedding has her transfixed on relationships. As a result of that, she’s trying to make something work. It’s unfortunate then that, as the old song goes, she’s looking for love in all the wrong places.

Think of the sneak peek below as a reality check for her, one where she realizes that pursuing a still-married man may not be the best course of action. Even if he is separated, that is still a minefield, and she may be letting endorphins get in the way of how she should feel.

From here, Kate vows to take a step back. Will she? That is more something that there is time to focus on. Temptations will be there, but for her, finding herself should be the key.

Of course, some of the irony in this episode is that while she decides to allow romance to take a back seat for a while, Harry could accelerate things with Joss. As we pointed out in another sneak peek from Monday’s episode, she’s going to suggest getting married in Vegas! It’s a shocking proposition, but crazier things have happened on this show. One of the things Harry may weigh is whether or not he is really okay doing the ceremony without many friends / family around.
