‘Suits’ season 6 video: Rachel’s phone call and lawsuits galore
The sixth season of “Suits” premieres on USA Wednesday night, and no matter where you look, trouble abounds and the promo below is the latest evidence of it.
For Mike Ross, it is fairly easy to pinpoint what the trouble is. As a result of his actions pretending to be a lawyer the past several years, he now residents in prison. He’s using his phone calls to speak with Rachel, and doing his best to survive. Unfortunately, this proves to be no easy task when there are so many who clearly want to mess with him. Maybe he leaves physically in one piece, but mentally? That’s an entirely different story, and something we are sure the show will explore.
As for everyone else still at Pearson Specter Litt, there is a different sort of trouble. The firm did everything that it could to try to spare Mike prison time, ultimately to its own detriment. Now, they have to pay the piper. There are a flurry of lawsuits coming in, largely from former clients horrified that a fake attorney helped them. They, and Harvey in particular, have to figure out how to make these disappear. It may be true that Mike was good at his job, but it’s a little awkward when it never should have been his job in the first place. There may not be anything that these clients want to see or hear other than compensation.
The biggest message you should get out of this is rather simple: This is a crazy season coming up. Be prepared for many surprises and big moments.
