‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 4 moves setting to Washington DC; Lance Gross and Jessica Camacho departing

We’re not entirely sure what in the world “Sleepy Hollow” is doing for its fourth season, since it almost feels at this point like they are making a brand-new show, and getting rid of almost everything about the third season that was recognizable other than Tom Mison and Lyndie Greenwood.

We already knew that we were losing Nicole Beharie and Nikki Reed from the cast; now, TVLine confirms that Lance Gross and Jessica Camacho are also both exiting. You could expect to see Sophie Foster at least one or two times more on the fourth season, but for Gross, it doesn’t appear that Daniel Reynolds is going to be making the move at all.

As for the biggest news of all, though, it doesn’t look like the show will be set in Sleepy Hollow at all anymore. Following the news that the show is casting a lower-level Secret Service employee / single mom named Anna, it’s known that the setting is shifting to Washington DC. All of a sudden, this show may look a little like “BrainDead” on CBS. Anna’s 11-year old daughter Stella is one of the new characters being cast; there are going to be many of them.

Given that the series is not airing on Fox until 2017, there will be some time for production to handle some of these changes. The bigger question at present is if viewers out there are going to embrace any of these at all, given the backlash that came with the departure of Beharie and such a fire-sale sort of change to the structure of the show.
