‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 4: Meet Ichabod Crane’s new partner

The fourth season of “Sleepy Hollow” has been set up as an incredibly challenging one, mostly because of the departure of Nicole Beharie and the rampant fear that there may not be someone out there who can replace Abbie Mills in the minds of the fans. Still, we appreciate the show trying to go on, since the alternative would have been having one person’s decision dictate the end of the show. Everyone now gets a chance to do what they love.

There is going to be a new female lead appearing on the upcoming fourth season, and this is someone who will have a few things in common with season 1 Abbie; namely, we’re speaking here in terms of her being skeptical to the supernatural nature of things. Per TVLine, the character’s name is Anna, a single mother who per the character description has “a tough, take-charge personality, punctuated by a wry sense of humor … She’s a born leader, but she also has a softer, more caring side which she rarely shows.

The show is looking for actresses of a variety of different backgrounds to take on the role, and she will be working within the lower levels of the Secret Service at the time in which she is introduced on the show.

We are very curious to see how she fits into this world exactly, and with that, who ends up playing her. Hopefully this casting is announced over the coming weeks so we can start to prepare for what’s ahead.
