‘Gotham’ season 3 spoilers: Clare Foley will still return as young Ivy

You may have heard already that the third season of “Gotham” is going to be a rather weird one for the Ivy character. Due to a creative decision they are aging her up to become more of a young adult on the Fox series, Maggie Geha has been cast as a major player in the story to come.

So what does this mean for Clare Foley? If you are a fan of her take on the character, rest assured that she will be making her presence known at least at some point early this season, as well. The image below from her Twitter confirms that you will be seeing the younger Ivy in action at least briefly this season. Some reports out there suggest that the show has some sort of plan for Ivy’s transformation, and it could be due to one of the escapees from Hugo Strange’s lab at the end of the second season.

“Gotham” season 3 is currently filming in the New York area, and hopefully there are in general many exciting things to come. The show has been somewhat mysterious when it comes to precisely what to expect this season, even if we have heard that the Court of Owls will play a big role. Given that they didn’t exactly kill off many of the major players from the second season, we have to imagine that some of them could be surfacing at some point, as well.
