‘Devious Maids’ season 4, episode 5 video: Evelyn’s not so keen on working…

There is a new episode of “Devious Maids” airing on the Fourth of July, so hopefully you carve out enough time in the middle of watching fireworks to check out the show. After all, it definitely looks as though there are some fun moments ahead, in particular for Evelyn.

So far this season, this character has gone through the experience of losing much of everything that she financially held dear, and there’s something about a fall from grace that is always entertaining to watch. Take, for example, at parties, where she only knows how to do one thing: Schmooze, and in fashionable dresses to boot.

This is what the sneak peek below is all about, as Evelyn’s decision to abandon a uniform and try to pass off as a regular attendee to the party does not exactly go off without a hitch. Instead, she is the subject of some criticism, and is told to go change despite making some protests. This is just something that she is going to have to get used to if she wants to eventually find a new path to success.

Do we think that she is going to be at the bottom forever? Not in the slightest; then again, part of the enjoyment here is going to be seeing if there is a way for her to get back out of it sooner rather than later. The end of Monday’s episode is the halfway point of the season; after that, there’s not too much additional time.
