‘The Musketeers’ season 3, episode 6 preview: Can Grimaud a one of the Musketeers?
We’ve made it officially (and rather sadly) to the halfway point now of “The Musketeers” season 3, and it is coming at a time that is particularly precarious for many of the characters. After all, we’ve seen Athos, Aramis, and the rest of the gang commit some very bold rescues and heroic moves, but there remains people out to get them. Grimaud just so happens to be one of these said people, and unfortunately, he also has a wide array of skills at his arsenal and is not afraid to put many of them to the test.
So what exactly could he do? Next week’s episode (which is thankfully going to be airing at its normal time Saturday at 8:30 p.m.) is going to give us a chance to see just that as conflict erupts at the worst possible time. The BBC synopsis gives you further information as to what is coming up:
“It’s the day of reckoning, as Grimaud vows to kill the Musketeers in a series of savage co-ordinated attacks and puts Feron to the ultimate test in his bid for power. With Athos distracted and Aramis on anunlikely pilgrimage with the King, the Musketeers are divided when they need each other most. The furious battle for survival sparks a series of revelations that threaten to destroy Paris. Before the day is out, a hero falls, there’s a traitor on the rise and the Musketeers will be changed forever.”
Is it really possible that the show could kill off a main character? We’re certainly not ruling it out, given that this is the final season and therefore the time for big moves.
