‘The Last Ship’ video: Brace yourself for July 4 marathon

There will be a new episode of “The Last Ship” coming to TNT this weekend, so if you are planning to celebrate the 4th of July, go into the holiday with that expectation. If you’re going to be off setting up some fireworks, be sure to set your DVR! We will of course be back with some coverage of our own on the night, so come back to the site to read up more about that then!

Below, what we’ve got for you is some promotion on something else exciting that TNT has coming up: A marathon coming on Independence Day for those of you who are extremely far behind. The show has been set up as a post-apocalyptic tale with the loftiest of expectations: Trying to cure the one. As you would expect, that is something far harder to do in practice than in theory. That’s especially true when you consider now that Rachel Scott is dead.

The good news for fans of the show looking to catch up and get into the current batch of episodes is simply that there is still a lot of time. Therefore, you’re going to have plenty of opportunities to dive into these episodes live if you catch up now. Let’s just hope that Chandler is going to be able to unite most of his crew once more on the Nathan James, and they will be able to press onward and once again show off their hero capabilities in ways that we haven’t seen to date.
