‘Mistresses’ season 4, episode 5 preview: Is conflict coming for Joss, Harry?

Monday night’s new episode of “Mistresses” (yes, it is still coming on during the Fourth of July) is one that will focus on many challenges, but one of the biggest ones simply revolves around the present state of the Harry / Joss relationship. We know that they are a great couple, but can they function well in a working relationship? It’s a great question, but the sneak peek below does not give us a heck of a lot of hope.

In this preview, what we really see more than anything else is some serious tension over some of what Joss had written up, which contains what may be some rather large embellishments about his life. Her argument for this is that it simply gives him that extra boost of personality, and that in turn even more people will be interested in him that would be otherwise.

Unfortunately, the problem here seems to be simply that he’s not much of a fan of having these little details sprinkled in, and demands in turn that she remove them. As a matter of fact, he also throws in here a tone that is a little less of a love interest and more of a boss. It certainly is enough to make us wonder whether or not these two should really be mixing business and pleasure; also, it’s enough to make Kate (who was in the room for some of the disagreeing) take off from there as quickly as humanly possible and we certainly don’t blame her.
