‘Preacher’ video: Want to catch up quickly before episode 6?

There is a new episode of “Preacher” airing this weekend on AMC, but before you get around to that, why not play a little bit of catch-up?

While the video below is no real substitute for actually sitting down and watching the show, we do think that it is nonetheless rather useful! After all, in here you can take advantage of the opportunity to catch up on the past five episodes of the show in just a couple of minutes, at least in terms of getting enough information to dive into the show head-first.

We certainly think it is no coincidence that AMC is releasing this catch-up video right now. While there may be a smaller pool of overall viewers this weekend thanks to it being the 4th of July holiday, at the same exact time they may think that there is something more that comes from there being no “Game of Thrones” on the air anymore. We would imagine that the two shows would share a little bit of an audience, and this is a chance to either pick up some people who want something to watch on Sundays or potentially convert some DVR viewers to people interested in watching live. We don’t blame the network for doing whatever they can to reach some of these people.

At the moment, the idea we remain the most interested in is how Jesse reconciles having something in him that he believed to be good, and whether or not he allows it to corrupt him in any way.
