July 4 Weekend: Where to watch ‘NCIS,’ ‘Criminal Minds,’ ‘Law & Order: SVU,’ ‘Blue Bloods’ marathons

The July 4 weekend has just about arrived, and this perhaps means one thing more than almost anything else: Marathons galore! There is not a whole lot on in the wake of new programming, so of course networks are going to try to supplement their lineups with some familiar programs coming on the air and running over the course of the day.

We should make it clear that by no means is that the entire lineup coming up for the next few days. These are just some hand-selected programs that we figure that many readers out there will like. These times are Eastern Standard, so adjust accordingly depending on your time zone.

Saturday, July 2

10:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m., USA – “NCIS”

12:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m., Starz – “Outlander”

1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., HBO2 – “Silicon Valley”

7:30 p.m. – 11:30 p.m., TBS – “The Big Bang Theory”

9:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m., TNT – “Animal Kingdom”

Sunday, July 3

1:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., TNT – “Law & Order”

7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., AMC – “The Walking Dead”

7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., TV One – “Empire”

7:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., A&E – “Criminal Minds”

11:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m., HBO2 – “Game of Thrones”

Monday, July 4

8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., Lifetime – “Grey’s Anatomy”

9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., WGN America –  “Blue Bloods”

2:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., HBO2 – “Veep”

Basically, if you either love crime procedurals or are behind on some HBO shows, this is the weekend for you! For the most part, these are shows that run almost every time there is a holiday, but given that many of them are off the air right now, maybe it will help to satisfy any craving until they come back on the air.

Also, most of these marathons are over early enough that you still should be able to go out and enjoy some fireworks!
