‘Power’ season 3 video: All eyes remain on Ghost

The third season of “Power” is moving to Sunday nights with its season 3 premiere on July 17, and with that comes one question: Can this show keep its greatness going on a new night? Will it prove itself to be every bit as intense as it was? Trajectory is a tricky thing in TV, especially when you have a leading man in Ghost who has already done so many dark / controversial things, you wonder what he is going to try and do next.

The preview below actually doesn’t focus so much on that as it does on the mere concept of Ghost being a hunted man by so many people following what happened in season 2. It’s ironic that the finale there was entitled “Ghost is Dead,” and yet we’re probably going to learn that the truth here is anything but. Expect Kanan, Tasha, and so many others to have key roles in the remainder of this story unfolding in interesting ways.

We will have a little bit more in the way of scoop on the new season soon, mostly because if there is one clear weakness of this particular promo, it is that it only gives you little tastes of the overall story when you are craving a meal. They want to give you a rather panoramic view to use a different metaphor, without allowing you to zoom in on any one thing or particular story.
