‘Rizzoli & Isles’ season 7, episode 6 preview: When will Angie Harmon, Sasha Alexander return?

Tonight, “Rizzoli & Isles” is bringing you a new episode on TNT, and we hope that this is enough to tide you over for at least a little while. After all, it will be at least a little while until you see the show back on the air with new episodes.

In a move that should surprise almost nobody out there, the network is opting against airing a new episode on July 4 … which really should surprise no one, since they don’t want to put people in a position where they have to record the show because of fireworks. They’ve got all summer, so there is no reason to hurry when it comes to putting the next episode on the air.

If you haven’t heard much in the way of new information yet on the next episode of the show, it is entitled “There Be Ghosts,” and you can see the synopsis for it below:

“Jane and Maura must unravel an old ghost story in order to solve a double murder at a hospital. Angela convinces Frankie to stop avoiding Kent and accept his invitation to a concert.”

Let’s just hope that this story is great enough to make up for the long layoff between episodes! Otherwise, we imagine that for the one week that the show is off the air, there will be a heck of a lot of anxiety. We’re going to have some more news on this episode before it airs, so rest assured: We’ll do our part to make sure that the hiatus goes by as shortly as possible.
