‘Suits’ season 6 spoilers: Could Donna help set up Louis Litt?

When “Suits” returns next month for its sixth season on the air, we know that many of our core characters are going to still be dealing with a less-than-ideal situation, one that stems primarily from them having an empty firm. In the efforts to clear Mike Ross, Harvey, Louis, and Jessica lost the majority of the attorneys working under them. Donna is still there, but it certainly looks like they will have to start from scratch. To make matters worse, Mike is still going to be behind bars during the whole process.

Is there any good news that could come from this? Well, it seems like at one point in here, Louis could have a new love interest! Not only that, but Donna could help him to have something work out! Speaking on this subject recently to TVLine, Sarah Rafferty had the following to say:

“I have always said that if I need a wingman, I would pick Donna … She’s the superhero of wingmen, so she gets to put on her cape and help him out.”

Hopefully, this romance will be a nice dose of fun in the midst of some rather emotional stuff going on with Mike and some other characters on the show. That’s the great thing about Louis: He has extremely high highs, and when things are going bad for him, it’s a disaster. Hopefully this is a source of fun for him, and we do like to see Donna in any environment where she and Louis are on the same page. When things are going great and he’s treating her well, it’s one of the stronger friendships on the show.
