‘Devious Maids’ season 4, episode 4 video: A college dropout and questionable regrets

Is Carmen on “Devious Maids” starting to feel a little bad about the state of her life? Based on the sneak peek below, we certainly would not be shocked if she was having a little bit of a case of the regrets.

In this preview, we basically see Carmen reamed out as Daniela tries to make a case for pursuing her dreams. Basically, Carmen is someone who has been working as a maid for years, and there are questions aplenty regarding whether or not it is really too late for her to pursue what she really wants. As if all of that was not awkward enough, at the end of the clip Carmen is told that she basically doesn’t have any authority to make decisions when it comes to Daniela, as she gave that up a long time ago.

As for where all of this will lead, that remains to be seen; still, we want to think that there is a little bit of optimism in this show, and one person’s path does not necessarily mean that others will repeat it. Ultimately, this is just something that we’ll have to find out about over time.

Ultimately, let’s just hope that this story delivers, and even aside from these characters, gives us a little bit of drama elsewhere. We’re still in the first half of the season, and with that we imagine that we’re not going to resolve anything major in this episode. There’s still plenty of time.
