While “BrainDead” has not become much of a ratings sensation through two episodes on CBS so far, we do get the sense that some viewers out there have at least gotten behind it and its weird brand of entertainment. It may be quirky and is definitely out there, but we do admit that we find it entertaining. With that, we’re very curious to see precisely what the show plans on doing from here.
Monday night’s new episode could have some more clues as to what is going up with the bugs, and in true Washington fashion, you’re also going to find out a thing or two more about a cover-up and an affair at the same time. “Goring Oxes: How You Can Survive the War on Government Through Five Easy Steps” is the title for this episode (they really are all mouthfuls), and you can get more in terms of what to expect below:
“When a bizarre and deadly incident takes place on live television, Agent Onofrio’s (Charlie Semine) investigation into it causes Laurel, Gustav and Rochelle to dig deeper into the bug mystery. Also, Luke attempts to cover up his affair with his Chief of Staff, Scarlett (Paige Patterson), before his opponent for the minority whip position, Senator Ella Poundstone (Jan Maxwell), can make it public.”
We will give CBS at least a tiny amount of credit for one thing in the promo below, and that is trying to cater to potential new viewers may explaining about as clearly as possible what the premise of this show is. Also, they’re reminding you that the show is from the creators of “The Good Wife.” They’re looking to capitalize on that still, which is wise.
