‘Major Crimes’ season 5 spoilers: A personal story for Sanchez lies ahead
We’re starting to now get in the thick of “Major Crimes” season 5, at least to the extent that we’ve made it through two episodes so far, and seen everything from Andy Flynn pursuing a different sort of home life to Rusty learning that his biological mother is pregnant with another child. There’s a good bit going on, and it seems that as we get further into this season, the focus is going to remain at least in part on telling stories that are personal in particular to a few characters.
With that, we come now bringing to you some of the first details about the upcoming July 18 episode entitled “Chased Out,” which you can see the official synopsis for (including some very important details for the Sanchez character) below:
“Det. Julio Sanchez’s application to become a foster parent is jeopardized by his reactions to a particularly gruesome murder after the Major Crimes Division finds a chopped up body burned to bits in the barbecue pit of an L.A. Park. Christopher Gorham guest stars.”
It’s great to see Gorham on here, mostly because we miss “Covert Affairs” and also because he’ll do a great job. As for Sanchez, we’re hopeful that he’ll emerge from this with his application okay, mostly because he’s get the right combination of character and connections. Ultimately, he’s just a passionate guy. Sure, it’s hard to speculate too much about it without actually seeing the episode, but for the time being there’s no reason for anything other than optimism.
