‘The Musketeers’ season 3, episode 5 preview: Is the Louvre in danger?
The third season of “The Musketeers” is in the process of airing some new episodes on BBC One, and if there is one thing that we can expect to see next week, it is one of the most-known locations in all of Paris being in danger. Even if you’re not a history buff, odds are you’re still very much familiar with the Louvre. It’s going to take center stage for a storyline that is all about an attempt to disrupt its interior, and case a wide array of problems.
Of course, this is a show that cannot tolerate doing only one thing! The synopsis below makes it clear that there are many other events getting set to take place, including a birthday party for Dauphin that has a slightly unexpected ending:
“The musketeers battle to restore order in Paris after Grimaud and Feron stage an ambitious Chatelet breakout, setting free a lunatic with murderous designs on the Louvre. Using one prisoner’s unlikely talentsto rob the royal vault, the plotters prepare to make their first move against the king. But ailing Feron is distracted, and his ruthless silencing of an unwelcome visitor could be Grimaud’s undoing. Ambitions collide during the Dauphin’s birthday party, where a kind act by d’Artagnan pushes lovers together and ends in catastrophe.”
Before this series — and likewise, the series — comes to a close, we expect that there are going to be some other big events that take place. We’re looking forward to sharing more on some of them potentially in the weeks ahead.
