‘The Last Ship’ season 3 video: Prepare for episode 3 by looking back

The third episode of “The Last Ship” this season is airing on TNT this weekend, and what better way to prepare for it by looking back at what happened on the first two episodes from last weekend?

In the videos below, you can get a really good sense at the events of the first two episodes, and get a look behind the scenes in the process. Executive producer Steven Kane, star Eric Dane, and many others go through these episodes and discuss the journey that we’ve been on, whether it be the death of Rachel to how Chandler moves forward to what happened to Slattery with the hostage situation. Also, you get a reminder that there is a little bit of hope moving forward thanks to Chandler arriving back on the ship, which is something that can thankfully be passed along to some of the folks back home. It’s unfortunate, though, that there are still those people who need to be rescued.

Luckily, we’re still extremely early in the season, and with that, we personally believe that there is plenty of time for many of the loose ends this season to be tied up and for some of these characters to be thrown into the same world once more. Expect some fireworks, and also expect other lives to be in jeopardy. In killing off Rachel the show may have made a controversial move, but it is one we believe done with the best overall intentions for the show at heart.
