‘Bachelor in Paradise 3’ spotlight: Will Evan Bass have better luck — and fewer Chad problems?
While he may be memorable both in terms of look and actions on the show, can he really find love through this? We’re not exactly bullish.
Show experience – He was recently eliminated from JoJo’s season, and while he had a couple of moments with her, he was mostly known for fighting with Chad, blasting him during a group date, and then proclaiming that he wanted Chad to pay for a new shirt after our villain-of-the-season was sent packing after his two-on-one date.
Romance potential – Low. While Evan seems like a nice guy and it’s theoretically possible, he falls outside of the sort of guy who tends to get a lot of attention in Paradise. Also, we imagine that there will be further hesitation, unless he gets with Amanda Stanton, thanks to him being a single parent. There’s a larger commitment there that makes quickie relationships in Paradise a little harder.
Drama potential – Moderately high. Chad is also on this season, so we cannot imagine the two of them existing without trading some comments at some point. It’s really just a question of who is going to be the instigator. If Chad goes home and Evan stays, maybe you could make a case for things starting to simmer down at least a little bit. That’s the only possibility we really see there.
